Homebrew NesDS how to emulate FDS?

Hello! So I tried to play SMB2 The Lost Levels on my DS. But when I picked the file, there's only a black screen but with sound. How can I emulate FDS on NesDS? Does it need a BIOS? Please help.

Do they work on a PC emulator?
If so then you might need to do a quick fix

They work on my phone.

Ok I finally figured it out. 16 bytes are missing. I used a hex editor and now they are working very well.
