Gaming New Super Mario Bros 2 3DS DLC Not Appearing

I have spotpass on my New Super Mario Bros 2 3DS game but whenever I turn on the game all I see is the Solo Play, Dual Play, and Options button..and when I go to options I see that spotpass is turned on..I am in the US and I already got the notification about the DLC packages but when I launch hte game I dont see any coin rush option so Im not understanding what is going on..My internet is also turned on(Its always turned on) so not sure why Im not seeing it

You need to finish World 1 to unlock Coin Rush. Then go to the shop icon on the bottom, and there you go.

You need to go to your notifications to activate the DLC switch in Coin Rush mode by the way.

EDIT: didn't notice that you already done that. Sorry.

Try to go to the notification with the game inside?
