temp admin are very generous, I mean, 2$ for a chance of winning a switch?
on the other hand, there are lottery costing 2$ and give you a chance of winning millions
but here, on gbatemp, chances of winning the jack pot are much much higher

He's referring to people who are new Patrons, not people who are already Patrons. He essentially has to add each user manually when someone donates, which can't be done if their Patreon info isn't related in any way to their GBATemp info and they don't submit their username.
