Gaming Nintendo DS ML (Fake Nintendo DS)

i got my ds about a few weeks ago for 22$ in good condition with a carrying case. its lower screen has some scratches, not so bad, i can live with that.

though when i compare its screen with my 3ds xl, it is surely not bright enough to play outside. hell it even looks darker than my gba sp ags 101.

i was told ds lite's screen brightness is much better though its hinges can be broken fairly easily.

so i thought this might be what i am looking for.

AGS-001 is a lot worse screen then a dslite

I traded my 101 for a 001 or whatever years ago just for a color I liked more, it was only later I realized the screen was front-lit.

Anyone know where to buy just the housing of these? I have a launch model Ds that needs a new case /LCD. While repairing it I would rather use one of these shells instead of the normal phat housing.

Oh wow, for clones these look really good, although they're expensive. Just as much as an original boxed DS Lite.

This means that, these "ML" are too prone to Ribbon Cable damage from wear and tear?
