It returns.

Seeing its August there isn't that much but then there is a lot more than last year.

<!--coloro:#483D8B--><span style="color:#483D8B"><!--/coloro--><u><b>Read to know when a game could be dumped:</b></u>
These dates are what retailers say is out unless stated otherwise, sometimes they <b>make </b>dates up for pre-ordering purposes so not all can be trusted. These dates could also be <b>"shipping dates"</b> which usually means that that's the date when games get <b>shipped </b>to stores so a game could either be in stores on that day or <b>after</b>.

Some games may get <b>delayed </b>some others not listed may appear but at the moment of posting these are correct. Also just because a game is released in stores it <b>doesn't</b> mean that they'll appear on our internets but NA titles usually appear on our 'nets Wednesday night UK time.

Have patience and remember scene releases are not a right but a privaledge.<!--colorc--></span><!--/colorc-->

It sort of sounds alright but Neopets Puzzle Adventure by Capcom/Infinite Interactive sounded better and wasn't that great.

<!--quoteo--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->While exploring the thought-to-be-long-abandoned palace of the Ancient Demon King, the young thief Anise stumbles upon a startling discovery: the palace isn't abandoned at all, and it's crawling with demons, no less! Equally startling is the deadly booby trap she triggers in the process of opening a locked door. She barely outruns the giant boulder bearing down on her, escaping the palace only to fall into a surging river, unconscious.

The fairy Kukri, imprisoned for centuries in the chamber Anise inadvertently unlocked, rescues her and takes her to the Castle of Albyon. Anise awakens in the presence of the King, whose son is being held by demons in the very palace Anise narrowly escaped from. Recent events have unshakably convinced the King that this thief is descended from the Legendary Hero of Albyon, he who slew the Ancient Demon King centuries ago, and so he commands her thusly: free the Prince from the vile demons... or be tried and convicted as a thief and locked away for life. Not much of a choice, one way or the other...

Over 150 levels of increasing complexity push your central processing unit (i.e., your brain) to its limits. When you've completed the stages provided, wipe your well-earned tears of joy away and jump into the powerful level creator to design your own devilishly tough maps, placing enemies, constructing moving platforms, and even setting custom victory conditions.<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Nintendo Power gave it 5/10 but then they do get it wrong most of the time. The trailer makes it look like its mildly entertaining but can we still have games that look graphically bad nowadays? I know its the DS but if this was 2D with the odd 3D effect then it would look a ton better. Apparently this is one of the few movie licensed games from EA who have decided to not do so many.

Another year and another Bleach game, but at least the quality of them are better than most games based on cartoons. Sadly again this one isn't by Treasure but Wii owners should be playing the next Treasure Bleach game sometime next year.

Famitsu recently gave it 31/40. Don't expect an English release for ages as 3rd Phantom isn't even out until September.

Before Freshly-Picked I hated Tingle, its not a "gay" thing I just hated the way he was in the Zelda games. I wanted the little creep dead and then I played that game and discovered that I got the guy wrong.

Here is the sequel and instead of focusing on money this focuses on women! You see Tingle loves the women, hes got like 98 on the go at the same time, he's like a fairy version of Ace Gunman. So most of the game you'll have to imperss the ladies by giving gifts, battling things and generally doing stuff to wet their private parts. There is also Wizard of Oz-influence there as you have a cowardly Lion, sexy heartless Robot (replacing Tin Man) and a Mentally Disabled Scarecrow (what?) to help you on your journey. Anyway other than that its more of the same which is welcoming as I enjoyed the prequel more than Phantom Hourglas and it kept me interested until the end.

No date for a release in English but I hope it comes out in Europe like the first one did. Famitsu gave it an impressive 34/40 which is a lot more than they gave the first game.

Pool games are ten a penny on the DS and all are kinda crappy with exception to Midnight Pool on the Midnight Game Pack, and even then that wasn't as good as the mobile version.

Wait and see if this one can be good. I find it hard to believe that developers cant make a good pool game on the DS, I mean Archer Maclean could on the Amiga over 15 years ago so why can't anyone else?

A huge game for Japan, will it best Dragon Quest IX? Monster Hunter hasn't really gone down too well in the West, mainly because they weren't all that great. However they do seem to be getting better (if the ratings are to be believed). The game will have offline Co-Op Multiplayer (2 players), online Co-Op Multiplayer (4 players) as well as regular online multiplayer. You have to pay to play online...fuck that.

There isn't a date for a launch outside of Japan but there will be one according to Capcom USA.

Not a big fan of the Monster Hunter series but I've got a feeling that this will be a big improvement. Quite a lot of the gameplay elements have been re-worked so that everything works a lot better for this new game.

It looks like crap and sounds like crap but those who have played it say its a very good game...seriously. IGN had this as a "Wii Games To Watch Out For" a while back.
<!--quoteo--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->Real Heroes puts players in the soon-to-be soot-stained boots of a rookie firefighter who has just been assigned to a busy metropolitan fire station.

Featuring Epicenter's proprietary "Thinking Fire" technology, Real Heroes' blazes will seem almost alive as they not only attack structures, potential victims and firefighters, but also cause unexpected changes to the environments that will suddenly alter the player’s options and strategies – no two scenarios will play out the same way. Success will depend equally on the player’s mastery of realistic firefighting tools and techniques and on the player's ability to think and react quickly under pressure.<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
There have been some good firefighting games in the past so it could be good. Actually fuck it I'm gonna be optimistic, this will be a good game.

Its amazing the amount of games that I would love to see a sequel too but I dont because the first didn't sell well and yet the Brave series has sold just as bad and as a few games in the series.
<!--quoteo--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->Set in a fantastic world based upon the mythology of Native America, Brave: A Warrior's Tale plays as a series of flashbacks in which a now elderly Brave describes the events of his life. Players take on the role of Courage and experience Brave's legendary adventures first hand as they relive his story and play through all-new content that will make Courage a legend in his own right! Can Courage live up to his name and stop the evil Wendigo's threat to their village?
Features

* Simple game play and easy to master combat - use sticks, longbow or tomahawk to defeat enemies
* Over 15 very different levels including lush forests, desert plains, raging rivers, and even the spirit world
* Numerous enemies to fight, from wolves and giant bees to mythical beasts
* Use 'mobile stone' to speak to a Spirit Guide for help and advice - three help levels allow difficulty to be tailored to suit different age levels
* Learn to mimic and possess different animals in order to acquire new skills or reach hidden inaccessible areas
* Perform ancient spells in battle and use 'dream catchers' to restore health<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
The PS2 game called Brave: The Search for Spirit Dancer was pretty meh, now I hope that they have improved this a lot as I want more good platformers for my Wii but I dunno, this game looks generic at best and the developer has made some real shit games including that 300 PSP game, how can you make a 300 game shit?

Alright this game isn't that new, even though it came out in Europe this year it was also out on Xbox, PC & PS2 but its a veru good a solid title that really does fill the void in the action genre on the Wii.
<!--quoteo--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->On the hostile planet of Nu Earth, there are tales of a lone warrior. A man who appears out of thin air to take out whole platoons, then disappears back into the shadows. In the centre of a futile war, one man can swing the balance: the ultimate soldier and last survivor of the massacred Genetic Infantrymen, hell-bent on revenge ... the Rogue Trooper.

Based on the 2000AD comic series, Rogue Trooper, Rogue Trooper blends intense third person action and next generation stealth. Rogue's arsenal offers him a unique advantage over his opponents; encoded bio-chips containing the digitized personalities of his fallen comrades are implanted in his gun (Gunnar), helmet (Helm) and backpack (Bagman). Rogue Trooper features intense online gameplay modes, where gamers can experience up to four-player co-operative gameplay in all new maps.<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
This game oozes personality, gameplay and it has some great voice acting in it too. It isn't a perfect game but its an excellent and overlooked title. Even on the PC/Xbox/PS2 it was overlooked but there are so many elements in this game that are original and even improve on other games in the genre and I cant recommend it enough for anyone with those consoles and for Wii gamers looking for something like this, its essential!

Overall I give it <b>8/10.</b> The camera could be done better and it could be a lot longer and it also would have been great if there had been some online play but Wii gamers have nothing else like this. If you have the other consoles as well as a Wii then get this version, it has the clarity of the PC version as well as some well made Wii controls. If you have a 360 or PC then there are better games but its worth a try at least.

Looking forward to the DS version of G.I. Joe, though I fully expect to be disappointed. And I've got my fingers crossed for the Firefighter game. I think they could possibly do something really interesting with that game. Maybe...

I'm looking forward to G.I. Joe myself.....looks like old-school type fun. From what I saw in vids, it looks pretty good actually. I don't really care about all the G.I. Joe stuff, just the gameplay. I just hope they don't shove touchscreen control down your throat as this game doesn't look like it would need it at all.

Blood of Bahamut looks nice, but I'll wait for a version with English. The fact that it's an RPG doesn't thrill me though....not much for RPG's these days.

Yay, Ashes 09! Can't wait for that. I might try Bleach as well since it doesn't look too text heavy.
The world will probs stop on 1 August thanks to Monster Hunter.

Shouldn't Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes be on that list for the DS too? It's to be released on August 4, I think.

Blood of Bahamut and Item Getter interests me. It's a daft idea to build cities on living things [dead, mayhap not, but definitely so if they're simply asleep], though.
Here's to an English release or a translation, failing that. ~
