lol my exams went really easy as the post should have said, just edited.

what biology spec are you doing? how did u find the exams?

i do AQA and they were quite easy IMO the heart and plant one was harder than the genes and genetics though.

but hope you did well too mate, fingers crossed.

if your planning on starting again next year theres no need to worry about the exams and enjoy your hols mate

I do edexcel for biology, went OK I guess, first paper i wasnt sure about, second paper felt good, third was crappy but also worth the least marks.

English was also OK guess we'll find out soon enough though.

Yes, they nearly always do it at GCSE, and its defo compulsory in AS Biology (there's a whole section on how the heart works).

It's actually not as gruesome as they make out btw, we dissected a frog at GCSE, and my Science teacher connected a pipe to a sheep's liver and blew out to show how the lungs inflate!

At AS so far all we've done is dissect a Sheep heart to find the locations of the valves and different areas of the heart etc. Also seen a pigs digestive system up close (not really a pretty sight or smell).
