I do not think it is related to http://gbatemp.net/threads/search-function-skip-few-years.350932/ as I noticed it before that.

Anyway the mark that says you posted in somewhere does not seem to be present in older posts yet it is in the newer ones, the main part of that image is some random page earlier in the 360 hacking section, the shrunk part is from the DS ROM hacking section where I have the ROM hacking guide I started in 2008 apparently and the later programming thread both of which I have replied in.

I am not sure what happens if I post now in an old thread without the icon.

It doesn't have anything to do with the other problem, no.
The IP.Board converter for XenForo simply doesn't convert that information.

Nothing will break if you post.

    Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

    @BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM

    You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
