Hacking NTR Viewer White Screen

I am trying to stream off of my N2dsXL on firmware 11.6, I've enabled the debugger and everything, but when I try to connect to kit-kat-slim I get an NTRVeiwer white screen. The input rediction is connect, but the screen of my ds wont show up at all

EDIT: NO matter what streaming item I use, when i open the debugger, the top screen flashes purple and blue, then the program has a blank screen
