Sir, do you have a tutorial teaching how to get it working? Also, does this method work between hacked and non-hacked consoles? Thanks!
There is one already in gbatemp not mine.

The gateway address doesn't have to change right? Because my routers default gateway number is different. And if I try using a different gateway number (like the one provided) my switch cannot connect online.

In the Nintendo direct they mentioned lan play for smash but I don’t know if it exists unless local wireless is going to count as lan play. Going online might be a bad idea before December 7 but I’m still trying to see if lan play is in this game.

LAN mode was never mentioned at Nintendo Direct.
I was particularly listening to this part.

It was mentioned, I remember there was a part in the direct where they said they have a lan connection because it supposed to be more reliable to stay connected. I believe they said something around those lines.

Didn't they recommend the ethernet adapter for playing online?

There’s even a comment in YouTube that. S

Even a comment on YouTube mentions it if you didn’t here it from the video.

Yeah, recommending the ethernet adapter for playing online is different from recommending it for local play. The former wouldn't confirm the existence of a LAN mode.

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

The phat model had amazingly loud speakers tho.

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".
  • Veho @ Veho:
It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite
    for people with beefy hands.
