Hacking [OFFTOPIC] Is the PS3 the same as the Vita?

Just wonder if you only can play games with ps3 cfw <3.55 or is it open so you can play the last releases on the ps3 with cfw?

For ps vita cfw <3.60 and below is only possible.

Hope you can help me since PS3 Forum is kinda dead.

On ps3 there's cfw for 3.55+ if you have a cfw installed, so you can play latest games if you're on 4.81 CFW

PS Vita doesn't really have a "cfw"
Enso is just a permanent hack that enables TaiHEN.

The PS3 however does have CFW and allows any PS3 on 3.55 and below to be installed and upgraded to the latest CFW build.
Which is 4.81.
All games made to date for PS3 can be played on a CFW PS3.
PS Vita is limited to 3.60 and will likely be limited for the next few years.
