I was wondering, how much help would overclocking a HD2400 (pro, AGP) be for UVD? I'm going to hook one up in my server soon, so it can run full HD (hopefully) at full speed, while being perfectly silent
, but I was wondering if overclocking it would be of any use to the UVD section of the card (would lighten the strain on the CPU even more). Naturally though if the card is currently waiting for the CPU to finish (in this case an AMD3200+ Newcastle, socket 754 @ 2.2GHz) it's calculations then It's pointless per definition (and if that has any effect downclocking it would be more usefull -->. generating less heat). Anyway, anyone ever tried it?
