Pachter: 3DS to have higher game prices

Even if the prices increase by that small amount, it won't be that big of a deal.

I already purchase $60 Wii games on a monthly basis.

Who cares I pay $64 for import DS games (not including shipping), it's not a surprise 3DS games will be more expensive. Of course the Japanese price for the 3DS is around $336 US so $299.99 would be a good estimate for a US price.

The guy just states the obvious all the time, of course games will cost me than the DS ones. DS games are far far cheaper to make and 3DS will probably come in line to Wii development costs.

yep, that is the way it is, it will probaly be £300 in europe and the games will be £35-£40 (which is the price of a console game) i could bet anything that is what the prices will be.

Well no matter what the stuff costs, I'll be picking a 3DS up and a couple games at launch.

You can all ready pre-order Legend of zelda 3d, kid icarus uprising, MGS 3d, paper mario 3d and kingdom hearths 3d from a swedish website.
all the games go for 449 SEK, 59,59$ about the same price DS games cost

The game titels are really good when I look at the line up at release date. I don't know how the games after the release will be though.... The price seems a bit high.
