So where do I buy a print like this for cheap? Considering I don't have a paperclip nearly as big as that one

EDIT: Never mind that, I got one that works. So all I need to do is make sure that it touches the first pin and the last one, and also make contact with the Switch rail itself?

Correct me if I'm wrong, can't I just use a paperclip, make it touch pin 10 and short it by touching the clip with my own body?

So, I put the paperclip in, everything looked good, as if it were in RCM mode, but when I plug it in to my laptop, the switch shows a charging symbol and turns back on. Please help.

Everyone going crazy with paper clips and jigs when all you need is a tiny piece of aluminum paper like raynolds, works easily, flawlessly, without any danger of damage. Using your joycon. Yoiu guys are funny.

Just bend my future modkit. It is kinda tricky to get it to hit the right pins, but with a flashlight you can take a look inside and fit the clip in perfectly.

For everyone using metric system:

The dent is a tight fit to be big enough to hold it's place, but not too big to fit at all... Try to make it exactly 2mm, a little more than on my picture and it will be perfect

Dude, thanks for this!

I just tried it and works first time :D!!

My useless 2 cents just from experience... if you plan to be doing a lot of this RCM stuff invest in a proper 3D printed or TX jig. You'll be surprised how much you'll be using it, especially if you're not entirely convinced that AutoRCM is such a great idea (purposely corrupting something doesn't seem like a great long-term solution).

I have one that I got from a seller in England and it's perfect. Small gauge wire almost exactly the size of the pins on the Joy-Con and nice durable plastic piece that slides in great but not rigid enough to cause any long term damage to the rail. I didn't like the idea of a larger paperclip causing damage or a piece of wire accidentally shorting other pins (one is a voltage pin... touch that one and your Switch is toast).

I suggest looking for the same if you plan on playing with SX OS (AWESOME by the way... I wasn't so hot on the idea of dropping the cash to pirates but it's clear a LOT of work went into making this and the amount they are asking is reasonable compared to Nintendo prices) or Atmosphere when it is released... you will need a 3D printed/TX jig.

Thank you, I think that must have been one of mine :)
