Hacking PC won't recognize Action Replay

I bought an action replay, installed the newest windows 7 x64 compatible drivers from codejunkies, but still the code manager program keeps saying "waiting for ds"
I've checked everything and everything is connected as it should be, but my pc still doesn't recognize the thing.
Can anyone tell me how to fix this please?
