Thanks. Haven´t heard of that, I was aware it didn´t work on 5.1? Perhaps I´m a little off of that notice. If you could show me the way I´ll really appreciate it.

No need for this anymore, RetroNX's ps1 port runs at full speed
I really don't like this wording. He is free to continue it as he pleases.

@rock88 If you feel like actively develop it, you should join up on my discord.
I want to work on this core a bit more myself, so lets keep redundant changes low as I'd like to maybe upstream it sooner or later

Except it apparently doesn't like ExFat, or run on SX OS?
the afformentioned retroNX isn't Lakka. lets make that clear. they're talking about homebrew that runs in Horizon OS, which coincidentally works perfectly fine on SX OS and exfat. however, as @m4xw stated in the comment below, exfat has issues with homebrew, so your mileage will vary

Still, lets not recommend exfat. It has its issues with Homebrew.
Ah, my mistake. I'll go ahead and fix my post then.
Out of curiosity, what kind of issues does exfat have with homebrew if you don't mind me asking? (not being an arse or a troll, I legitimately don't know what the issues are)

It seems to randomly not flush out the data in time or at all or whatever.
Its a weird Issue. That leads to corruption of data, but not only the data that was written to, it can literally break anything.
FAT32 has Issues too, but from my experience they are neglectable compared to exfat (would literally fry my card every hour).
Not to mention people using their Home buttons, fucking everything over.

Wow the whole card? Thats bad. The only issue I had once is that my re3 bin file was 500mb instead of 700. Had to copy a new one to the sd again. I am lucky I guess? ^_^

I've been using exfat on a samsung sd card with all homebrew and haven't had a single issue so far.
I've personally not had any issues with exFAT either, but I trust @m4xw to be telling the truth. If he claims that homebrew doesn't like exFAT, I believe him. He's never given me a reason to not trust him at face value.

I did have a problem with opening RetroNX's quick menu. For everyone else, R3+L3 would open this menu but for me it was + and -. I copied the contents of my 64Gb card to my computer and formatted the card FAT32 and then copied everything back onto the card. Nothing changed in the contents, but magically now + and - don't do anything and R3+L3 open the quick menu like they are supposed to. The only thing I can think was happening is that RetroNX wasn't parsing the config file properly because exFAT somehow kept corrupting it. An added benefit is that now homebrew that never worked for me now work. (NX-Shell)

Yeah I have full trust in @m4xw also. I was just stating my experience.

Yeah, I have a 64 GB sandisk card formatted in exfat, haven't had any issues with it...yet anyways. doesn't mean they don't exist, and knowing this info now, I'm definitely going to be at the very least, watchful of things.
The only reason why I stick with exfat is to remove the pesky 4gb file limitation. I may get a separate, but smaller microSD card after reading this for homebrew as I'm not interested in 'backup' loading at least at this point.

I rather enjoy a life of taking it easy. I haven't reached that life yet though.
