I used PKHeX on 3DS and nothing did happen as well but someone told me they got banned on the switch GETTING homebrew
Only way to be safe from bans is to keep console on airplane mode and never connect it to any internet connection. Even if you only used homebrew, nintendo WILL detect it and you will be greeted with a full ban. Anyone that thinks a hacked console is safe from bans when connecting to internet clearly didn't read the many warnings many expert hackers have put out there.

Anybody willing to get me an Adamant 6 IV Melmetal, and 5 IV (0 ATK) Timid Mew? I just can't get these with these stats in game since they're Pokémon Go and event originated.

Honestly, the best way in a case like this is to make a 6IV Ditto and just breed the pokemon you want. If I'm not misstaken, the new Pokemon will be legit. Yes, its a lot more effort, but rather that than fully banned tbh.

Dunno if it's still that way but give it a go.
Hi there, if the case is LPLE, would the case still be the same?
Like if I follow the following processes, how will the outcome be?
>2 Switch (1 original, 1 cfw)
>cfw NS
>extract save
>modify pokemon / generate legit pokemon w/ PKHex
>put back the save
>send 'legit' pokemon to og NS

it sounds alright?

Honestly, I don't know. Yes, there should be no issue with it since you techincally trade with someone, how would you know if it's a hacked Pokemon or not? On the other hand, it's Nintendo. I'll tell you what I did with my 3DS (since I don't have two switches and can't do it on LGPE), and that is that I used hacked Pokemons online (they were, according to PkHex, legit) and I have never recieved a ban.

A friend traded me a hacked Ditto, so I see no reason why they should ban you, cause again, you have no actual way of knowing if a Pokemon is hacked or not unless you use CFW, which you don't on your legit Switch.

So to answer your question: Yes, I believe it should be alright, there is no way for you to know if a Pokemon is legit or not and nothing you should be able to get banned for.

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".
  • Veho @ Veho:
It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite
    for people with beefy hands.

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

    but that's a long shot

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.
  • AncientBoi @ AncientBoi:
    I don't pirate them, I Use Them :mellow:. Like I do @BigOnYa 's couch :tpi::evil::rofl2:

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
