I understand that, how do I fix it then?!You did it wrong then.

You didn't give any information to work off, there's no need to do "this?!". Information would be niceI understand that, how do I fix it then?!
ok. So, I used This software to get a pokemon diamond forwarder, and all of my .nds/.sav files are in one folder. I used the tool you suggested to put in the path (sd/NDS roms/) and the file link (sd/NDS roms/diamond.sav), but when I put in the new config.json, both screens say "homebrew" in white text on a black screen, like it would normally load up, then it just crashes to the home menu. You didn't give any information to work off, there's no need to do "this?!". That still isn't enough information. Show me the contents of the config.bin.ok. So, I used This software to get a pokemon diamond forwarder, and all of my .nds/.sav files are in one folder. EDIT: I do not have a flashcart, before you ask. My nds roms are all on my sd card.
The image is broken, and no, that isn't how it works. The filename being too long won't break it. For folder, where is it pointing?the top box is the unedited backup, the lower one is the edited backup. Also, there are many many files in the nds roms folder

EDIT: my theory is that maybe the filename is too long?
There's your problem. You're supposed to point to PKSM save backups folder for your game.I realize what was broken, and that was because I linked to the individual images. Here is the link, and the folder is pointing to root/NDS roms, and the file is named root/NDS roms/1015 - Pokemon Diamond (v05) (U)(Legacy).sav
Thank you, but I can't back up the game due to the forwarding software (whick uses ndsbootstrap i think), is there any way to counteract this? I do not have a flashcart, not sure if that would help. There's your problem. You're supposed to point to PKSM save backups folder for your game.
You can.. the whole point is to use nds-bootstrap with it.Thank you, but I can't back up the game due to the forwarding software (whick uses ndsbootstrap i think), is there any way to counteract this? I do not have a flashcart, not sure if that would help.
oh, ok thanks. sorry if I seem annoying, but how do I back up the game? sorry but im fairly new to the whole homebrew thingYou can.. the whole point is to use nds-bootstrap with it.
Backup the game..? You mean with Checkpoint?oh, ok thanks. sorry if I seem annoying, but how do I back up the game? sorry but im fairly new to the whole homebrew thing
yes, or is there another method to backing it up? check point won't recognize it...Backup the game..? You mean with Checkpoint?
Because there isn't a method to back it up with Checkpoint. Why would you even do that because PKSM can read it by itself? It autobackups saves too..yes, or is there another method to backing it up? check point won't recognize it...
I will try agin and tell you if it works, I'm just wondering why it crashes.Because there isn't a method to back it up with Checkpoint. Why would you even do that because PKSM can read it by itself? It autobackups saves too..
I told you why. You set your config up wrongI will try agin and tell you if it works, I'm just wondering why it crashes.
how was it set up wrong? I'm getting really confused.I told you why. You set your config up wrong
You put your folder as the rom folder. It should point to the PKSM backup save folder.how was it set up wrong? I'm getting really confused.
okay, thank you. how would I back up the .sav to that folder though? You put your folder as the rom folder. It should point to the PKSM backup save folder.
It does that automstically if you set it up correctly.okay, thank you. how would I back up the .sav to that folder though?
