During a panel at Bitsummit 2018, Hideki Kamiya and Atsushi Inaba from PlatinumGames got to talk to an audience about some of their recent and upcoming games. Kamiya mentioned Platinum's Wii U exclusive The Wonderful 101, laughing that the game "should be named the Unwonderful 13, as it's worldwide sales was like 13 whole copies". When the audience there was asked if they'd like to see the game get ported to the Nintendo Switch, reception was positive, and the response was that the company would love to bring it to the platform one day.

Also discussed was the upcoming Bayonetta 3, where it was said development was going well. Inaba cited that Platinum has a "bunch" of games in the works right now, including a top secret title that, as quoted, will "turn the action genre on its head". It's also apparently so secret that most developers at PlatinumGames don't even know it exists.

Further information wasn't given, but with E3 next month, we might see our first glimpse at this project then.

Thinking more about this, what about a Devil May Cry and Bayonetta mashup?

It's pretty much known the Capcom is going to announce Devil May Cry 5 at E3, but what if Platinum throws out a cross over game as well? Could either tie directly into DMC5 or be stand alone.
