I click on an interesting thread link in "similar threads", only to find a 403 error and a message that I am currently restricted from viewing that forum. What's the point of showing threads that you cannot even access?

I know the reason to the restriction. But showing restricted forums in similar threads is literally pointless to those without access.

I presume something pointed to the selling section -- as far as I am aware it is mostly that, the supporters section and the staff one that is gated off.
The minor annoyance for the few people that truly use similar threads is probably not worth the server load to compare user group/post count as being allowed access or not.
