I aim to get a MacOS machine. Right now my only development System is a Intel Core i3 laptop with both Windows and a Linux Mint distro installed. Getting the third big system for testing and development will make everything faster for testing MacOS compatibility. In fact, it could become the main development machine.

So they want a mac machine funded and this is how they set about it? I wish I could say it was novel but I can not.

That said it got me to read https://www.google.com/design/spec/material-design/introduction.html#introduction-principles and now I think I am going to search for whatever drugs the folks at google are doing.
