Nintendo knows it the only way i got the GBC was because of the pkm games.

Which were compatible with the original gameboy, great way to get your point accross

I didn't think Pokemon Gold/Silver/Crystal were GB compatible. I could be wrong though.

actually they are thrry work in the original gameboy i try it the GBC just added color and was smaller that the GB but there was gameboy color only games

I hope it's not some bullcrap mewtwo or 'special announcement'.
I hope for something like a RS remake with added battle frontier, full gen 5 mechanics, probably DSi enhanced but could still play on DS, etc.
but then again it could be gray.

I'm hoping for either of these to be announced at Jump Festa:

RSE Remake (please don't make it 3DS exclusive)
Gen V Mystery Dungeon
Pokemon Battle Revolution 2 (I hope they release it on Xbox and PS3 as well)

Why is that? Half of the DS users are non-3DS users. I think it's illogical to only make a 3DS version. That is, if Nintendo will indeed make a new game. We still don't know if the "big announcement" is about games. Maybe it's about a new manga, a new toy series or maybe a new event (like Keldeo or Genosect).

Nintendo doesn't have enough people buying the 3DS. Release an R/S remake for only the 3DS, and BAM! 50,000+ sales in a week.
Everyone wants these games. It would be stupid to release it for the original DS.

I'm expecting it to be grey, otherwise it will possibly be another game like colosseum or xd gale of darkness for the wii/3ds.

Hell, it could even be a brand new pokemon thing for the 3ds that wont sell well

EDIT: on that note i really hope that grey ends up being MADE for the 3ds
