Question: I received a lot of errors during compiling and extracting the Moon_dec.3ds file, is it because i used the "Dump & Decrypt (Trim)" option, or does the Trim option not affect anything (instead of using the "Dump & Decrypt (Full)" option?).
Can you post an picture of the error?Hey dio... im trying to rebuild the cia using the tool provided and keep getting the error with the files mismatch. Any idea what it coulda be? I've tried both using a cia and a decrypted 3ds files, and the error persists.
That log looks OK. Makerom commonly shows that error message with S/M despite working perfectly.Seriously, what is this? I took the full version this time of the "Dump & Decrypt" options, not the "Trim" option, and i still get this (and no, i don't run the .bat as Admin, same happens when i run it as Admin):

The wrong icon and banner are included, but it's still Pokemon Umbra Moon.Well, then i am still having the issue of the game ending up in the wrong version. I dump Pokemon Moon, use the "Umbra_Moon" batch process i downloaded to build the CIA file, and i end up getting Pokemon Sun. What the f*ck?

There's a few other reports of it in the same thread. It's a relatively minor thing (i.e. still playable), and Dio_Vento said he fix it and a few other things at the same time. It takes time to release an update after all.Wait what, why? Why is this not fixed? I mean, i cannot possibly the only one to have seen this and thought there is something wrong.
Thank you for the hot fix! FBI shows the proper icon now, installing it to see if the banner matches. I also took the opportunity to use PK3DS to change the name of the title stored in icon.bin to Umbra Moon, like it is for RR and SS. Will let you know how the install turns out.I added a hotfix for:
to the OP of this thread.
- Umbra Moon Distribution Pack includes Nova Sun banner and icon graphics instead of Umbra Moon ones
- Non-Alola Native Pokémon cannot call for help (affects Expanded and Randomized builds)
For the record, the reason I didn't do that this time is because the save manager JKSM treats "Star Sapphire" as its own game, which conflicts with my install instructions to "back up your save, install the mod, then play and restore your save later"Thank you for the hot fix! EDIT: Banner looks great! This takes care of just about everything I needed. I'm gonna try and make a dummy update for now and see how much luck I get with that.
Ah, I see! Well JKSM allows you to browse for a save file and keeping them separate actually helps me in that I can tell which are from the mod and which are from the default. Thanks for letting me know the reasoning behind it though! For the record, the reason I didn't do that this time is because the save manager JKSM treats "Star Sapphire" as its own game, which conflicts with my install instructions to "back up your save, install the mod, then play and restore your save later"
try to rebuild it again and make sure you have all the files properly placed and that you can open it with pk3ds ( I cant it says folder a not on top level but my cia still works fine) and then make sure you extracted the cia or 3ds files properlyHaving a little trouble getting the CIA version to work. I backed up my normal Moon save and wiped it clean with JKSM, and i also deleted the Pokemon Moon 1.1 update, but whenever i try to launch the Umbra Moon CIA (which i installed through FBI), it's just stuck in the "Nintendo 3DS" loading screen forever, it doesn't get past it. What exactly is wrong this time? In case of the question being put up, no, i do not use NTR while trying to play Umbra Moon at all.
