I have a CycloDS (black) and a 8GB Class 2 SDHC SD-card. I have firmware 2.3 and when I play Pokémon Pearl (USA) it is realy slow. I tried to re-format my SD-card too FAT32 and it helped a little bit. But it is still slow. Then I thought it was my SD-card but when I play Metroid Prime Hunters or Bomberman or any other game, I have no lag at all! So I don't know if this is a bug (in the firmware) or it is just my SD-card.

O, I also formated my SD-card with Panasonic SD formater. And it is a little bit faster, but still slow

Thanks for helping

PS: sorry for bad English

You are definetely out of luck I am afraid. If you really need 8GB memory, go for a class 4 or class 6 instead.
Alternatively, get a 2GB kingston and enjoy everything at full speed

Class is write speed, not read speed.

Class is write speed, not read speed.
That may be true, but higher classes still run faster. I compared my Class 2 8GB Kingston to my Class 4 8GB Kingston and the latter ran much faster.

It's probably just a coïncidence that your higher class happens to be one that runs faster.

You probably have a defective or faked Sandisk.

Cause I own a Sandisk 16GB Class 2 and its reading speed is faster than Kingston 4GB Class 4.

I run Pokemon Diamond and Platinum without any lag.
