Gaming Pokemon Soul Silver vs. Platinum

So I've been playing Pokemon Platinum for awhile,then I was told to get Soul Silver because it ''supposedly'' has more Pokemon,is this true?I've looked on a sight to see just what Pokemon were on there and how many, http://www.serebii.net/heartgoldsoulsilver/johtodex.shtml ,but I still keep getting told that there are MORE Pokemon on Soul Silver... Does anyone know if there ARE just as much or more Pokemon on Soul Silver?

Really?They both have the same Pokemon?Maybe the site I went to hasn't been updated yet,I dunno, but it showed less Pokemon than on Platinum... but I do like the fact that you have the main 3 from the second gen,I mean,the 1st and 2nd gen starter Pokemon look better than the 3rd and 4th atleast.

When they more pokemon, they meant those that are only obtainable from single player!
Both of them have the same amount of pokemons but I would say SS is better!
I would rather take a crocodile than a stupid penguin!

lol Yeah,plus the penguin looks cute at first but eventually ends up looking... weird... And I'll be playing it single player so I wanted to know what all was on that one anyway.

I like that you can have run on all the time also, not having to hold B is really nice. But the 2 regions is the deal maker.

sitck to platinum. Honestly, if your playing it then keep doing so! all this HG/SS talk makes people forget how great of a game platinum is (and how much of an improvement it is to slow ass D/P)

yea, 16 badges, yea two E4 types. yea two regions. so? plat still has battleground, battle frontier, contests, a challenging E4 and underground AS WELL AS all of the same online features. so what if there is no pokewalker (thats better if your playing on a flash cart) so what if pokes don't follow you.

people forget just how good of a game platinum still is.

I like hg and ss just because I got sick OF COLLECTING ALL THE FREAKING BERRIES in plat.
