Goddamnit. There was a picture I had of an expansion card to decode JPEG images, but I can't find it.

Maybe it was a MPEG card? Those were quite frequent back in the days.

But a JPEG card? Never heard of it!

Definitely JPEG. It was a scan of a book with the caption underneath explaining it's use, like the "future computer" image above, that's why I was reminded of it.

EDIT: Probably ISA, seeing that JPEG was ratified in 1992.
