Problem with embedding / attaching images

Recently, I've had problems attaching (copying the image into the reply field) or embedding images in img tags, from my desktop Firefox browser.
In both cases the image appears broken in my post, but it shows up in quotes.
Downloading to a local computer, and uploading to the forum, works. But it's a drag.

Let's test it out here:

Yup. Everything seems fine but it varies on how you upload it.

Imgur links work.
Maybe it is an image format problem, some of them might be unsupported like webp..

I make sure to check the format, and only post jpg, png and gif. I know webm is not supported, and webp is the brainchild of Satan himself, I'm sure.

Imgur links work if you just paste them without using the "img" tags or the insert image thingy.
They get interpreted as "media" and get inserted as a frame, with the site title and link to the site and all that jazz, not as an image.

It seems embedding media allows now only Apple Music for some reason? lol
It was supporting streamable before, now it's not accepted.

Not sure if this is related, but now YT videos are not showing (like it shows in the pic below), they were showing like 3hrs ago.
