Hi all, I have got a PS4 controller on hand which must be a very early version of the JDS-001.

The problem is that, it will not respond neither charge or sync with the PS4 nor a PC.

I found that the cable connecting the usb board with the main board was having a cut line, so I replaced with another 12 pin cable. But, still no response, nothing at all. I have changed the usb with a known working jds-001 but still no luck.

I do not have another board like this, neither seen any like this before. Does any of the components missing? There are fuses I should check? Where?

If anyone could post a photo of his same version board to compare? Or any idea of what else I should try?

Looking forward to a reply. Any help is welcome.

Solution found!

I have put newer version battery and it works now. I do not know why, but it does. The battery it had originally works on the jds-011 version flawlessly. I hope I helped with people having same issue.
