Yes, just locate the directory theyre stored in (and let me know as I dont know ehere they are), and copy them out.Is it straightforward to retrieve saved screenshots via ftp? Cheers.
@KiiWii instead of wasting all that time giving out tech support why don't you just make a guide with all this information for people to read themselves
I've probably said this before, but I think it would have more visibility stickied in this section instead since it seems to be the only one people post in.
I've heard people say the search function is crap but for me it usually works well so I dunno.Just have the link to the guide on copy paste and help me redirect them to the info.
Unfortunately people dont search anymore
Shame you can’t symlink some threads to a sticky like you do with app2usbJust have the link to the guide on copy paste and help me redirect them to the info.

They did not installed it, just downloaded?I'm about to buy a PS4 Pro, a used one. When they were to check the fw version they accidently downloaded the update file for 5.50. Is there any way to start the PS4 and erase the update file? some kind of "secure mode" or something?
Thanks!!
Exactly.. it says press next to install..They did not installed it, just downloaded?
Im not an expert, but booting into safe mode and wiping all data could workExactly.. it says press next to install..

re: screenshots... They're in
/user/av_contents/photo/NPXS20001
With a subdirectory per game/app (by CUSA number) then a subdirectory (3 digit hex name) per screenshot (date+time filename).
eg: one of my Journey screenshots:
/user/av_contents/photo/NPXS20001/CUSA02172/3f7/20180605_183955_00804915.jpg
Each screenshot also has a corresponding .dat file, plus an .ext file if it was a trophy, same filename as the .jpg
