Homebrew PSX Emulator not working

you need to download a psone bios and put it on SD/retroarch/system/
(rename the bios to SCPH1001.BIN)

And you need to modify the retroarch config file. On settings go to video and disable video sync, then go to audio and disable audio sync (most of the games runs very slow if this options are enabled, but some games like Earthworm Jim 2 runs perfectly with that options enabled)

My bios is already called SCPH1001.BIN. So do I still need to rename it?

No, you don't have to rename it if the file is already called SCPH1001.BIN
