I admit this is likely a dumb question, but I couldn't find an answer and got no reply when I asked elsewhere. I recently bought a used Switch to hack to run homebrew so I could keep my main Switch stock. This Switch is strictly for offline use and in fact does not have an active Wi Fi connection set up. I also, as far as I know, am running it strictly in emuNAND

I decided to try dumping one of my physical games just to see if it would work, and it did. However, I forgot to remove the certificate during the dumping process and am now concerned that I will be banned if I run the game card in my other Switch. I loaded the game for a moment or two on the hacked Switch when I tested the dump, but again I did not-and because of my set up, could not- connect online, and furthermore I deleted the dump of the game immediately afterward.

My main questions are:

1. Since I never took the game online before the dump was deleted, is it safe to play the physical copy in my main Switch, online included, and

2. Does a game card have a way of telling Nintendo it's been dumped outside of the certificate being used or shared elsewhere?

So thevgame card is tainted just from the dump, despite the dump be deleted and not bein on the main Switch?

Sorry for the dumb question, just wanting to make sure.
Nop dumping the cartridge is only read it, no change in the cartridge nor writing to it is happen.

The only way big N could discover you have the dump is if you turn on and go online whit both consoles. While you kept the homebrew console offline nothing will happen

Could someone help me or recommend with the correct wording on the e-bay search to find a switch console that can help me dump my cartridges?

But any desktop OS, I've never had anything but frustration trying to get Bluetooth devices to work reliably and stable. It might pair and connect once, and then next time I go to use it I have to delete and re-pair it again

Ran a driver update in device manager?
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
Not recently but I think it's less a driver issue and more just Windows having a garbage Bluetooth stack
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Could be I was having issues when I first upgraded it and didn't realiser gigabyte has specific driver revisions which is stupid
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Which is married to the boards revision

I've gone years without ever removing a logitech usb transmitter. Across several replacements of keyboards and mice. It just stays put.
