Hacking Question about the homebrew channel

I have the home brew channel set up on my frined's wii but I'd like to know how do I download from the homebrew channel he needs ios and cios and I can't do it on my laptop because the sd slot is broken can I download it through his wii?

So it's like this correct

apps/Homebrew/boot.dol,meta.xml,settings etc

Ok then I just need to figure out a way to get the ioses and cios onto his wii without the sd card..

for cios installer it says
required: sd card

ugh isn't there a way to put it on a usb instead?

NVM got it but multi mod manager locks up or my wiimote doesn't respond :(

edit 2 turns out I need a older wiimote
