Hi guys, so I currently have 2 switch. One that is dead due to an emmc failure (with no keys or backups all I could do with it was boot hekate) and a new one with a heavily scratched digitizer. So both are fully operational in all sense except the one with no emmc as I have explained.

So I basically migrated the board and everything else from the one that had the scratched digitized to the one that doesn't have emmc.

It turn on, the digitizer works and it boots as I can hear it when moving or clicking icons but I get no picture. I've check to make sure the ribbon cable is properly connected, I believe it is, can push it any further in.

Have anyone seen anything like this? Is there an incompatibility with the screens or something?
One thing I noted is that the ribbon cable on the screen that is giving me issues is cover/coated in a black plastic... I'm guessing to make more resistant while the original screen of that mainboard had a ribbon cable completely brown, exposed.

Any help or thoughts?

take apart both systems, remove the lcd and swap them. that seems to be your only option unless you somehow bent a pin in the lcd connector/

I was trying to avoid that since the switch with the nice digitizer also has a tempered glass so removing it while not breaking it might prove challenging, even with hot air

@Xdqwerty there is health behaviour you can add to your character, then to use a health bar is lil more complicated, google n watch a few tutorial video on it, be too hard to explain here.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, the character has the health behavior
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I know you have to create a health and health max variable. Then there is a calculation you use in code to subtract width size of the health bar. Google few vids.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, the "greenflatbar" is one of the preset health bars btw
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea you can use any bar/sprite. It will just change the width. Ok good luck and have fun. I'm off to go shoot some pool at the bar. Talk to you later.

  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, why does the health behavior exist if you can just use a variable?
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
