Nobody is sure when 1.6 will come out, so if you decide to wait, it could be a while.
If you have to pay to get it flashed you may want to hold out a bit, so you don't have to pay again in the sometime in the (hopefully very near) future.
If it's someone that's a friend and doing it as a favor, I'm sure he/she won't mind doing it again.

Oh..so installing 1.51 is not a good idea? I have not flashed my XBOX 360 yet(Am gonna go on Saturday to someone who will do it for me) should I just wait til 1.6 comes out..when do you think that might happen?

It's a good idea. 1.6 isn't going to add anything but disc dumping, the security feature of not running bad games was removed to make it so if yet another wave of data appears you won't need to update.

I am gonna be buying some blank discs today(verbatim) and I was wondering, what is the best program to use for burning..I always use Imgburn to burn my Wii games but I guess for the XBOX there is some program called XBOX Backup Creator..but I need some assistance using it, and also that abgx program..I dont want to end up with any coasters..so if someone would be willing to help me burn my first game i would really appreciate it..Please PM me if your willing to help :-)

Is Verbatim the best disks to go with or is Memorex better..I unfortunately could not find either in Office Depot or Staples so I guess I have to order them from online..which is better to go with..I don't want to have to end up returning them

Was gonna buy this

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16817130008
Are those the real Verbatim disks, I was reading how some of these disks are really from India and not reliable so I wanna be sure before ordering

Verbatims are known as the best discs out there, so you can't go wrong with those. Basically any name brand you should be fine with. I use Memorex for Wii games, which aren't as good as Verbatims, but it works for me. As long as it's a name brand and it's not the cheapest thing you can find, you should be fine.

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

The phat model had amazingly loud speakers tho.

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".
  • Veho @ Veho:
It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite
    for people with beefy hands.
