Homebrew Quick Question: Is this why my Sonic 3 & Knuckles inject sounds horrible?

I have used the Ultimate GEN-MD Forwarder Maker for 3DS so I could make a Sonic 3 & Knuckles rom right on my Home Menu. I used the emulator that is NOT the Genesis Plus GX (i can't think of the name). The emulator seems to have crackling sounds and the spin-dash just doesn't sound right. Other than that, it has been working perfectly with no slowdown whatsoever. Does Genesis Plus GX fix those sounds? And if it does, does Genesis Plus GX have slowdowns? If so, I'll just stick to what I've got. If not, I'll remake the forwarder.

No clue, but there is no reason why you wouldn't be able to test it yourself. Try the retroarch 3dsx or CIA build.
