hello

is there any CRC calculations to check that all files are OK, and that the final resulting big file is also ok ?

if not, it could really be a good improvement
( i have issues with write errors on my SD so i fear to end with a bad dump )
That's not a bad idea, not bad at all!
Maybe after writing every 512 blocks (256KB) we can read back the sd card and check if everything is ok. That way we can have a 1:1 verification.

How do I dump Boot0 and Boot1 with memloader?
I don't know. I haven't used it yet.
rajkosto provides support for his memloader though, at his thread.

@CTCaer I ended up backing up the sd card and formatting it to exfat from fat32. Put the files back on and it seems to have dumped. This look right?

Hello all.

We need some help testing some changes in hekate in all Switch update versions.
The changes are about adding 3.0.0 support. But all versions should be checked.
The test is about launching the Switch OS either in Normal or CFW mode.
In CFW launching of hbmenu through album is also needed.

The update versions that need testing
  • 1.0.0 (?)
  • 2.x.x (?)
  • 3.0.0 (New, this should work now)
  • 3.0.1-.2 (This probably wont work, missing SE patches)
  • 4.x.x (This should still work, like before)
  • 5.x.x (This should still work, like before)
You can find the testing payload attached.

EDIT:
Current results:
3.0.0
3.0.1 Needs SE patches
5.x.x Still works

Thank you for testing.
Yeah, sleep mode works on stock only.
But this specific feature is not about hekate. It's atmosphere and the support will come eventually. Atmosphere development is pretty fast.

Thank you for testing.
It was expected for 3.0.1. Code wise it is ready to launch it. It just needs the security engine patches.

Yes, of course.
I need package1.
You can dump it directly with version hekate CTCaer mod v1.3. Tools->Dump Package1.

When done, do a zip/7z with the newly created pkg_decr.bin, sm.bin and warmboot.bin.
Send them by email (check my github profile), not through pm here.
Thanks

CTCaer,
I'm on 5.0.2, and Hbmenu can't find the switch directory with my Samsung 128 GB SDXC Card, no problems with my Sandisk 32 GB SD card.

Have in mind, that this has nothing to do with hekate - ipl.

Other than that, what's the Filesystem and the cluster size for each of your SD cards.
(Cluster size should always be 32KB, to have maximum compatibility in all non-Microsoft OS.)
