BootAnim9 doesn't have much to do with this (if at all...). I have to RE the CSND or the NDSP module and see exactly *what* they read/write and *where* it does it.How about something ON TOPIC now? Will the file dumped with this tool eventually allow sound to be enabled on our boot animations (bootanim9)? If not, what exactly will it be used for that can't be done now?
Problem is, as the name subtly implies, that BA9 runs in the ARM9 processor without any underlying software stack or OS (only thing I use is FatFS for SD access). So I don't know how to properly access sound or what to do in order to enable it, or have the time to RE it (I've got a lot of projects in the background, not all of them are IRL projects, not all of them are 3DS-related, etc)
Sorry for the OT Cruel, but I just felt I had to clarify this, people have been asking for it a long time now.
