Is there a way to edit Fates save file by other means? Apparently, those castles that have impossible skills (Aptitude on every character) seems to have modded the save file.

Or better yet, is there a way to decompress the save file and edit it with a hex editor?

I just really want more gold or to get myself multiple eternal seals to raise the level cap.

Yes, with FEAT you can decompress it.

where would i go about finding the value for my gold? i cant find the hex anywhere.

i have 207022 Gold and the hex is 328AE I've have even tried reversing it and HxD wont find anything.

What I did was, since I had custom firmware, I downgraded the 3ds browser to the version RAM hacks works. I scanned an QR code that maxed out the money.

I had no luck watching the sereneforest thread.

Look for your gold in hex value and reverse order them.

Say you have 8888 gold, convert them to hex value; 22 b8
reverse them to b8 22 and look for them in the save file

you should find them, so edit them accordingly, maximum value would be 999999 -> 0f423f which you will need to reverse to 3f 42 0f

and for ores, i found out that you can search them up easily cause the offsets are next to each other

say you have:
8 pearl
7 lapis
3 coral
4 amber
2 jade
6 quartz

convert them to hex values which then -> 08 07 03 04 02 06 and just search them up in the save file, they should come up
then you can just edit them to 63 which is 99

Make sure you decompress your save file with the FEAT though

Also, the offsets are not fixed, they seem to reorder themselves depending on your progress in the story or how many people are in your team and sometimes the equips used on your characters. I haven't really figure out why but yeah

so i have 3950 gold when i use the hex converter it gives me "F6E" and when i put the value it says cant find the value, i have set the datatype to hex values, im doing something wrong ? sorry im new at this things :'c
