what duolingo...If you mean the reverse engineering part you can join our discord.
If it's for translation you can probably use duolingo or join our discord.
Certain type of archive*kuriimu need plugin to be make first for it to be able to open certain game file?
right, if kuriimu has the plugin then you can just go throught the next process of translation?Certain type of archive*
Yes.
I don't know what you mean by "next process", but you if this plugin exists officially = you can translate.right, if kuriimu has the plugin then you can just go throught the next process of translation?
If Kuriimu has a plugin for a text format, you can open and mostly save it again. With that you can begin translating the contents. If that's what you meant.right, if kuriimu has the plugin then you can just go throught the next process of translation?

At our github page. Please read the first post in this thread for that information.yes that what i mean.
so where can request game plugin?
This python script was one of my works and at the time I assumed that this xml was mandatory to the structure and made it more easy for me.Is a plugin for editing .bcsar files worth filing a request for?
I mean, it seems lot of games use them but there aren't any reliable tools available for editing them which makes me wonder if they can be edited in a simple way.
I'm trying to make an undub for "Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney" on the 3DS. I managed to get the audio files with other tools but I can't pack them again into a new .bcsar file.
There was a tool (a python script) that could do it for Ace Attorney Trilogy, here in gbatemp, but that tool relies on having a .xml beforehand which Apollo Justice doesn't include in the rom (but Trilogy does).

Having a bcsar plugin for Kurrimu can be possible. A bcsar should be just an archive of sound files, but since I don't know its specifics we might miss out on important metadata if handled wrong.
Ofc you can make an archive request and wait until we work on it.
In general please. Also most tools only specialize in extracting files to look through them, there aren't many that also take the effort of injecting them again. Since it's an archive, it should be self contained and therefore everything should be possible like any other archive.Yes, now that you mention it, I recognize the avatar picture.
Thanks for that tool. That made the undub for Trilogy possible.
The big problem when handling these bcsar files seems to be when you replace a file of a certain size with another of different size.
I found other tools to extract them but once I replace them, they can't be packed again. Only your tool was able to overcome that issue.
I will file a request in the github site but I have a question: the request should be for a plugin that handles .bcsar files in general or for this particular game (Gyakuten Saiban 4)?
Thanks for the reply. I'm a discord newbie. Searching the #Kuriimu didn't yield anything, do you have an instant invite link?Yes it's still active, you can join anytime.
