Dude, I still remember the first few beta's of this hack.
You only had about 3 levels done when I was one of your beta testers.
I still remember helping you find bugs and testing if the secret areas worked while trying to collect all 3 "coins" (this was one of your requirements for the beta testers haha).

I'm really happy you've gotten this far with this Rom Hack, what you've been able to do to this game and it's engine, remarkable.

I wish you all the best with 4.0 and the future of this hack, looking forward to playing it!

Thanks, buddy - I made that level back in 2011 already!!
Also all the "cameo guests" - appearences in levels (in V1.0 there were only 3, V4.0 has 80 - 1 in each level)

There was even a guy who got inspired by me (LuckWii)
LuckWii started to make a New Super Mario Bros. - hack just with METROID (NES, 1986) levels only!!
I think he is not living anymore, since he suprisingly quit any conversation with me and the hack... (hope I'm wrong, since he was an excellent guy!!)

Difficulty in 4.0 is pretty normal! Some of these shown bonusrroms are tough, but definitely beatable!

The last "MASTER COURSE" will be a superhard one though. (Poll results on my site: http://skjmin.org/polls/)

Difference EASY / MASTER MODE
EASY MODE:
- SMB3 level layout (no advanced areas/courses)
- updated graphics and backgrounds (no HD due to DS' low resolution^^)
- 3 STAR COINs in each level (easy to find)
- SECRET EXITSs are available (80% easy, 20% tough)
- no new bonusrooms (just some very minor tweaks like "changed blocks" etc)
- no real challenges
- no Cameo Guests

MASTER MODE:
- 4x bigger as EASY MODE!!
- SMB3 level layout + majorly advanced areas/courses
- updated graphics and backgrounds (no HD due to DS' low resolution^^)
- 3 STAR COINs in each level (each in separate bonusroom)
- SECRET EXITSs are available (10% easy/mid, 80% tough, 10% very tough^^)
- over 150 new bonusrooms
- a lot of obstacles and challenges
- 1 cameo in every level (so 80 cameos, very hard to find)
