Which exact translation project did you use? Can you post the romhacking.net or forum link?
Are you using a compatible syscard bios?
Does your patched version of the game contains a single ISO or BIN file with an accompanying CUE sheet, or are there multiple ISO/BIN files?
If it's not one (1) ISO or BIN, look for Castlevania - Rondo of Blood in this thread. There's info on what to do about merging them.
Edit - Oh, you again. I previously told you about combining ISO/BIN files. If you did that already and the romhack does not work, I can try recreating from my end the english patched Ys IV: The Dawn of Ys. Just need to know which fan project was used.
How to English Patch Castlevania: Rondo of Blood and make it work on TemperPCE.
This game is available as remakes: (1) Castlevania: Dracula X (SNES) and (2) Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles (PSP). If those options are not satisfactory, be ready to put in some effort.
I'm having problems running Arcade Card games, specifically The Art of Fighting. Tiles get corrupted when the perspective changes and the whole thing eventually crashes halfway through. Suggestions?

I'm using the compatible syscard bios, I can get every other game to run on the 3ds including Castlevania - Rondo of Blood, and I just played through the Cosmic Fantasy games perfectly fine, Ys IV has a single ISO/CUe sheet and works perfectly fine in all other emulators on my PC.
I'm not even that miffed that it is not working, I just hate when I keep hitting a wall getting something to run, I would like to know I could play it on the 3DS
1. Download Ys_4_-_The_Dawn_of_Ys_(Version_5-1116-R1P)_(NTSC-J)_[HCD3051].rar(485 MB - 3A5E60C9) found at that hustler site.
The archive will contain two files: *.cue (1.43 KB - F0037A15) and *.iso (736 MB - B97D07EE).
The two files need to be located in the same directory.
2. Unzip the ISO and CUE files to their own Ys_4_-_The_Dawn_of_Ys_(Version_5-1116-R1P)_(NTSC-J)_[HCD3051] folder. Rename the files to:
..._[HCD3051].iso → Ys4.bin
..._[HCD3051].cue → Ys4.cue
3. With Notepad text editor, change the first line in the CUE sheet to:
Code:
FILE "Ys4.bin" BINARY
4. Unzip the YsIV(US)v95.zip English sub patch to its own YsIV(US)v95 folder.
5. Put the Ys4.bin and Ys4.cue in the YsIV(US)v95 folder. Using a 32-bit Windows computer, double click the PATCH.BAT. Press (ENTER) on the option 1 Apply YsIV(US) BIN Patch.
The batch script will not work on 64-bit Windows because of discontinued support for 16-bit programs.
6. Virtual mount the Ys4.cue with either Alcohol 120% / 52% or DAEMON Tools.
Alcohol:
I. File → Open...→Ys4.cue → Open
II. <right click> Ys4→ Mount on Device
DAEMON:
I. Actions → Add DT Virtual Drive
II. Devices → [DT] (X꞉) Empty → <right click> Mount → Ys4.cue → Open
7. Unzip the Ys IV English Dub v1.1.zip to its own Ys IV English Dub v1.1 folder.
8. Go in the TurboRipv1.1 BETA subfolder and launch TurboRip.exe. Enter the number that corresponds to the virtual drive and press (ENTER). The program should output the folder named Ys IV - The Dawn of Ys {HCD3051-5-1116-R1P} (J) with the following files.
01 Ys IV - The Dawn of Ys {HCD3051-5-1116-R1P} (J).wav

Ys IV - The Dawn of Ys {HCD3051-5-1116-R1P} (J).cue
Ys IV - The Dawn of Ys {HCD3051-5-1116-R1P} (J).toc
9. Take the Ys IV - The Dawn of Ys {HCD3051-5-1116-R1P} (J) folder back out to the Ys IV English Dub v1.1 parent folder. Move (cut & paste | CTRL+X & CTRL+V) the various (34) WAV, ISO, CUE, and TOC files into the Patch subfolder.
Don't put them in the lowercase patch folder.
10. Launch the Patcher.cmd and press (ENTER). Wait for the message "The patching process is complete!"
11. In the TocFixer subfolder, open the program TocFixer.exe. Under the dropdown menu, select the option Ys IV - The Dawn of Ys {HCD3051-5-1116-R1P} (J). Click on Browse → ... →Ys IV - The Dawn of Ys {HCD3051-5-1116-R1P} (J) → 01 Ys IV - The Dawn of Ys {HCD3051-5-1116-R1P} (J).wav→ Open. Click on Repair. 13. Open the program ImgBurn. In the Create image file from disc or Mode → Read, use these settings to extract the game:
Destination: ...\Desktop\
File Name: Y so many Ys
Save as type: BIN Files (*.bin)
Settings:
Read Speed: MAX / 8x
14. Rename the files as such:
Y so many Ys.bin → Ys IV - The Dawn of Ys.iso (736 MB - 794C6353)
Y so many Ys.cue → Ys IV - The Dawn of Ys.cue
15. With Notepad text editor, open the *.cue file and change this line:
Code:
FILE "Y so many Ys.bin" BINARY
to
Code:
FILE "Ys IV - The Dawn of Ys.iso" BINARY
16. Play the game in TemperPCE using syscard3.pce (256 KB - 6D9A73EF). Blah blah.
hey just wanted to ask, is there anyway to extract the cia version of this emulator? It's just that I want to change the banners into a fake Rondo of Blood one, any help would be much appreciated.
Hey Bubble, do you think you could make similar emulators for Switch? You did really great work here and the only Turbo emulator on Switch is RetroArch, which isn't all that great...
Probably too old of a thread but I can only get my games to load once after a fresh .cia install. After turning off the system and turning is back on i get the "umm... unable to load rom" message. If i uninstall the emulator and reinstall it, I can run the games again but only until I turn off my system. I then need to repeat the process of uninstalling and reinstalling. Any ideas?
This emulator is great but the main major issue with it is that whenever i close my 3ds, the 3ds shows a black screen (both top and bottom) and i need to reset my 3ds in order to get it working again.
Is there any way of setting default ROM folders in bubble2k16's emulators? I love them but yeah, I would like to set a default rom folder so I don't have to browse to it each time, or have it remember the ROM folder
After a few hiccups trying to get this running. Mainly Incompatible rom formats. Managed to get card and cd-rom games working without any problem on a New 2DS XL.
Using the same interface as other emulators is great. Makes this very user friendly. Compared to the extremely slow, clunky and unfriendly Retroarch 3DS/2DS port.
Trying to play the following Super CD games but they won't load. "Exile II: Wicked Phenomenon" NTSC-U "This software is super cd-rom and requires either the Turboduo or the Super System Card 3.0". "Might and Magic 3" and"Forgotten Worlds" NTSC-U "This disc only works with the SUPER CD-ROM2 SYSTEM. Please Use The SUPER CD-ROM2 SYSTEM."
I've got all 5 BIOS files installed in the first page installed and tried switching between them in the option but none seem to load the games. Just get the unsupported message on starting the game. Just wondering what else I need to do to get these Super CD-ROM titles working?
Tried all the other Super CD games I have installed and they load/play fine.
I used the online Compute CRC-32 from a file checker to check all the bios files. Apparently syscard3 was not matching. Had to be the Super CD-ROM System (Japan) (v3.0) to work. Not the USA version which has a different crc. Now all of the games work.
Might And Magic 3, even though it says it requires "Super CD-Rom 2 System". Actually requires the Arcade CD BIOS selected to run.
I used the online Compute CRC-32 from a file checker to check all the bios files. Apparently syscard3 was not matching. Had to be the Super CD-ROM System (Japan) (v3.0) to work. Not the USA version which has a different crc. Now Two of the games work. Might And Magic 3 Still requires "Super CD-Rom 2 System" which I've selected in options but still not working. Even thought I have file has the corecte CRC.
I was able to get Might and Magic 3 - Isles of Terra (NTSC-U) [TGXCD1047] from that hustler site to work with that syscard3.pce (6D9A73EF) and GAME-SPECIFIC SETTINGS → BIOS: CD-ROM v3.
