I’m guessing the EU version of this is dead

I think you're right...
The more y'all complain about ugopwn eur not being released yet or asking when and saying it'll never release, shutterbug2000 might as well just say "Forget it, y'all complain too much and y'all do not have patience, I'm cancelling the EUR port of ugopwn" To be honest, I want him to cancel it since most of you keep pressing on developers to send their work. It's so obsurd. Like please, give this man time. He has been working on it. He has a life to live which comes first. He doesn't need you guys to keep giving him pressure. That's the last thing he probably has on his mind.

Either have more patience, learn to code to exploit the app yourself. ("I don't like waiting) Oh well, that's a ''you'' problem. ("I don't know how to code or hack") Starting learning, you have tools to learn this stuff, use google.

This goes for asking about RocketLauncher too. Don't go to ApacheThunder asking well. As he stated before, he did not write the exploit code for it and it's not in his control to release it. StuckPixel is responsible for the exploit itself. It's up to him when this will be released. He's working on other things too and trying to live his life. He can only do a few things at a time since he's very busy. He also is part of the ReSwitched team so he's working on other projects as well. Don't go to him begging for when RocketLauncher or stating it's not going to come out. It'll release when It's released. Hell, he'll most likely do the same thing and just cancel the exploit too.

Enough said, either have patience or go without DSi stuff. You can always move to a different system for homebrew.

Yeah easy enough for you to say. Though I agree mostly there is no need for complaining. I still think and I said this before, if shutterbug were to release the source code of the USA ugopwn this would make it simpler for others to port it as the exploit would only have to be modified to work on EUR FW instead of having to completely reinvent the wheel, as the DSi will never receive any updates anyway, so this will never be fixed I see no good reason still why shutterbug would not want to do this. Of course that doesn't mean there isn't a good reason but if there is I would at least like to know what it is, I don't believe that's unreasonable to ask.

As much as I like things being open source, it's always the decision of the person who wrote the code. I think shutterbug is aware that people would like the source code and so I think it's wrong to keep pressuring him to release the sourcecode by constantly mentioning it. If he wants to release the source, he'll do it, if he doesn't, that's his choice.

And who's going to port it? You?
Literally the only developers with any interest in the DSi are the ones working on nds-bootstrap (Apache-Thunder, shutterbug, Robz8, ahezard), JimmyZ (who made twlnf/twlbf), and stuckpixel. And all of these devs have things that they're working on that they're prioritizing over trying to port an exploit.

Well I am a Computer Science student, so yes why not. Not promising anything as my skills are not on that level yet, but I would definitively want to learn and am willing to pour many hours into this just for the learning experience.

I believe you could, but this community (if that is what it is being called) is really on new developers sometimes.

I could but I'm very busy with my projects I want to do with the 3ds. I also have a life. Yes it would be fun porting this over but I don't feel like reproducing the bug since it's a bit weird how it works.

Sure devs have their own life and all, and yes I agree that they obviously don't have to do anything but I think they shouldn't announce projects if they're not gonna deliver them soon. People are very impatient and they will constantly keep asking, so they would probably be better off not announcing it until a release is confirmed.
