Release window for Netflix's TV adaptation of 'The Witcher' announced
If you were wondering when you could see Henry Cavill in the shoes of Geralt of Rivia, then wait no longer. Shortly after announcing the main cast of the TV adaptation, showrunner Lauren Hissrich tweeted the following:
Some shiny new updates here...

As such, we can expect the show to air as soon as next year but we don't know exactly when. The pilot script has reportedly been finished and filming is rumored to begin soon in Budapest, Hungary. Taking that in consideration, the show might not screen in the first half of 2019 but if you need a fix for your video game-to-TV adaptation series (the adaptation will be based on Andrzej Sapkowski's The Witcher book series rather than the game though), there's season 2 of Netflix's Castlevania to look forward to! Are you looking forward to see how this adaptation will turn out?
