Ran in to an issue last night where RetroArch stopped registering all inputs, even after a reboot. The only thing I did was replace the mupen64 core NRO with the one from the latest nightly. I'll have to see if switching back to the old NRO fixes it.

Happened a few times, I think once just toggling the RetroArch menu fixed it for me.

Can somebody check if Retroarch still has that "slow and choppy after suspend/wake" problem?

I don't have my Switch atm.

Just start some game in Retroarch, press home, press home again and see if it becomes slow with choppy sound.

Also you can try to press the power button to go to sleep, then press it again to wake up. Does Retroarch become slow after doing this?

Just pull up the RetroArch menu before sleep.

That's what I figured. It happens when launching through both the installed NSP and sideloading the NRO through a legit title while holding R. Think deleting the config will fix it?
consistent? I know it can happen if the stars are weirdly aligned :shrek:
But if it's reproduceable, try a fresh cfg. Maybe changed the input driver?
If you are using glui or xmb, maybe you can still use touch

Yeah it was persistent through a couple reboots. I didn't change the input driver and have been using the Ozone GUI since it was available. I'll try a few things after work and see if any of them resolve it.

Where can I toggle speed up on mgba like on the Vita? On the Vita I had it set for when you held right on the right analog stick. Can't find it in settings.

I am joining the question, cant find any info on the cores for toglgle the speed up, even on google.... Have any core of GBA in retroarch for switch the toggle speed up function?

Thanks in advance

Makes playing Final Fantasy Tactics or Pokemon a lot better. I swear I get bored now without the feature.

so, I've been playing tekken 3 for a while and while everything works fine ingame, it keeps crashing if i forget to mash start when the 'the king of iron fist tournament 3' screen pops up.

is this an issue with my copy or is there some workaround to try?

Can anyone confirm that any NES cores are working with NES roms. That's FCEUmm/Nestopia and QuickNES. Every NES rom I throw at these cores crashes retroarch. Have tried with nightly builds and stable. This is doing my head in because exactly the same roms work with the PC Retroarch but the switch one is a no go. Have tried roms from about 20 different romsets just in case anyone thinks I'm some remedial that refuses to try different sources. No NES rom works on any of the switch NES cores (i biggest irony is that every FDS rom does work so wtf is up with that).

I'm uploading a video of it now! It beats me wtf I'm doing wrong. The same roms work fine on PC. I've been unable to run any NES rom on the switch through Retroarch but FDS games work fine. The use the same f***ing cores. What is going on with this? What cores are working with NES roms? can anyone share the NRO's? What sets are your roms from? TOSEC / No-intro? I don't want you to post where you got the rom's just what the name of the set is for my own peace of mind!

Why would I use psnes to play NES games?

I think I figured it out. It was something to do with headered and headerless ROMs. Doesn't explain why they worked fine on Retroarch PC and RPi though.
