Fullspeed Goldeneye maybe? Although not for Switch yet I guess.

ParaLLEl RDP is now being converted to Mupen64Plus Next! Android users should expect modest but still significant performance improvements across the board over ParaLLel N64, and enhanced game compatibility! Paper Mario, Perfect Dark, GoldenEye 007 should all work on M64P Next!

ParaLLEl RPD uses Vulkan, so it will not come to HOS, maybe in Lakka.

Anyone tried the Pushmo/Pullblox series on citra core? I've been getting urges to play them again.

I can't imagine playing this game without actual 3D, especially the second and third ones.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

That's weird.
I have a nightly for it and it's working fine on my end.
I would suggest...
Try disabling both RDRAM options, the color and depth buffer ones, close contents, start the core and check again.

Thanks for all your help! I downloaded the 1.8.8 stable release from the website instead of the nightly buildbot, and everything is working great.

I guess that was the problem after all. Go figure.

What issue were you having?

It did. I still have one problem: Majora's Mask is a black screen. I can hear it. I just can't see anything. :(

I decide to try it for you and It works just fine on my latest retroarch on my Switch. Untouch. And if you must know..I am using Europe version.

I think it is being worked, but I am not sure to what extend atm.
It might have to wait until the AArch64 dynarec is implemented for PCSX Rearmed, either that or the dynarec for Beetle PSX, whatever comes first.

It seems like AArch64 dynarec has been implemented in PCSX ReARMed since February or thereabouts, but sadly it also seems that the switch to 64bit means only utilising Pete's Software Renderer at the moment.. and not the NEON enhanced GPU accelerated driver, which means no enhanced res :(

https://www.libretro.com/index.php/pcsx-rearmed-now-has-dynarec-support-across-multiple-platforms/

I keep checking PCSX Switch progress all the time as PS1 is my #1 most desired system to emulate. Everyone is falling over themselves to get N64 working but I legitimately couldn't care less about it, haha! I want some sweet sweet enhanced res PS1 lovin' ^_^ I really do hope someone, m4xw or anyone, can eventually put out a working Enhanced Res compatible build at some point. Until then, like you, I sit and wait :D

So, on retroarch for video drivers we have a "switch" and the default "gl". Is there actually any difference between them and in case there is, which one is better?

I agree, I'd love to have enhanced res for PSX, because damn the original res for PSX games is just atrocious to my eyes, and the whole subpixel precision fix for PGXP is also something I wish we could see on the Switch for the PSX cores.

We just gotta hope that such an update comes later down the road :P

Well, the point of the MAME 2003 Plus core is that you get the speed benefits of MAME 2003 while getting newer games backported from the newer versions of MAME. Best of both worlds.

It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.
  • AncientBoi @ AncientBoi:
    I don't pirate them, I Use Them :mellow:. Like I do @BigOnYa 's couch :tpi::evil::rofl2:

  • cearp @ cearp:
@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
  • cearp @ cearp:
It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space
