Hardware Right Joycon not charging/connecting/being recognised by the switch

i had opened both of my joycons to replace the joysticks due to stick drift. i had finished both and they both seemed to work. a few hours later my right joycon no longer seems to connect to my switch wirelessly or if its slid onto the side and if i slide it onto the side then i have to do it extremely slowly and after a minute or so it connects but shows that is has no battery so its not charging either. Ive tried opening it again and replugging the ribbon cables for the rail but it didnt seems to work and im desperate since i cant afford another joycon atm.
