I am trying to transfer FF7 Crisis Core save from one CFW (Atmos) machine to another CFW (Atmos) machine.
I have tried using jksv checkpoint and one other but it doesn’t work the game loads up and says the save data is corrupted within the FF7 menu. The type of save data it seems to extract is
SAVEDATA_PROGESS (400kb ish)
and
SAVEDATA_SYSTEM (4kb)
I tried restoring without the System one too, no avail. Any ideas? Is this a new type of save game? Odd! Thanks
Yes. They actually came from the same install files and same update. However it is a new game on general release today. I wonder if it could be something new?

Oh I see. Was reading the Wikipedia blurb too quickly and missed that it just came out today. Ungh. That could be it. Will install it and see if I have the same issues.

Installed the base on both my Switches.
Played up to Soldier level on Primary Switch.
used JKSV (Google edition) to upload game save to GDrive
pulled the game save down from GDrive to Secondary Switch.
Restored Save Game to secondary.
Worked like a Champ!
Going to update to 1.0.1 and see if I can duplicate the issies.

Updated both to 1.0.1, progressed a tiny bit forward on my Primary. Uploaded my save to GDrive. Downloaded from GDrive on my secondary…still no issues.
Looks like it’s not an issue with the game or JKSV, my friend.

Thanks for your reply! I just got round to it. So it prompted me to look into GdriveJksv and I managed to get them working, a dream realised! My thanks.

GUYS I JUST COMMENTED A YOUR MOM JOKE ON A GACHA YT COMMUNITY POST (the algorithm has cursed me in terms of community posts, bc I fuck around on that sort of community post, just commenting and being a jackass)
It's not the movies or games downloads that I would worry about, like breaking into networks, downloading encrypted things, spying on network traffic. I have seen so many "Top Secret" seals on files when I was a kid
I was obsessed with finding UFOs, a surprising amount of US files where stashed on computers in other countries, China back in the early 90s omg sooo much
