List is now complete, I'd appreciate if a mod could change the title to "The New Shiny Hunting Meta in ScVi is SANDWICHES!"

I'll update the OP to be prettier when I wake up.

Wait so can we choose any two Herba Mystica regardless of type or should we use the specific ones mentioned?
Use the ones mentioned for the boosts I mentioned in the OP (just updated it)

For actual shiny farming, you're going to need both encounter power and sparkling power.

Yes, you can use any two Herba. As long as you put a minimum of 2 on condiments you will get always get Sparkling and Title power. The third one's power seems to depend on which two you use.

Does anyone know if you can use the sparkling power and the egg power to hatch shinies faster?? Or is the sparkling power just for overworld encounters?

How do you make sandwiches to begin with? There didn't seem to be anything I could interact with during a picnic to make them and the button mappings didn't mention it?

You read that right. Look at these boosts.

Because the Encounter Power matches the Sparkling Power, you're going to find more of a particular type of Pokemon, and that type of Pokemon will have a VASTLY increased chance to be shiny. In my experience, the chance seems to be similar to that of PLA, and I don't even have a shiny charm. Not only that, but there's even an increased chance of your shinies having a mark due to the Title Power increase!

"But TTiN," I hear you saying "I don't want to make sandwiches!"

And I felt that. But what if I told you that I'm going to show you how to make sandwiches with 3 ingredients, and that you don't even need to put the top piece of bread on it?

Yep. Let's tell you how.

What you need:
  1. Beat the game (watch the credits roll)
  2. A Pokemon (or team of Pokemon) to farm 5* raids so you can get Herba Mystica
That's it! The Herba Mystica are rare drops, so this won't be something you're running every minute of every day, but this will help you get the most out of it when you do run it.

Easiest recipes for each type:
  • Normal: 1X Chorizo, 2X Salty Herba Mystica
  • Fire: 1X Basil, 1X Sweet Herba Mystica, 1X Salty Herba Mystica
  • Water: 1X Cucumber, 2X Salty Herba Mystica
  • Grass: 1X Lettuce, 1X Salty Herba Mystica, 1X Sour Herba Mystica
  • Flying: 1X Prosciutto, 2X Salty Herba Mystica
  • Fighting: 1X Pickles, 2X Salty Herba Mystica
  • Poison: 1X Noodles, 2X Salty Herba Mystica
  • Electric: 1X Yellow Bell Pepper, 1X Salty Herba Mystica, 1X Spicy Herba Mystica
  • Ground: 1X Ham, 2X Salty Herba Mystica
  • Rock: 1X Jalapeno, 2X Salty Herba Mystica
  • Psychic: 1X White Onion, 2X Salty Herba Mystica
  • Ice: 1X Klawf Stick, 2X Salty Herba Mystica
  • Bug: 1X Cherry Tomatoes, 2X Salty Herba Mystica
  • Ghost: 1X Red Onion, 2X Salty Herba Mystica
  • Steel: 1X Hamburger, 1X Sweet Herba Mystica, 1X Salty Herba Mystica
  • Dragon: 1X Avocado, 2X Salty Herba Mystica
  • Dark: 1X Smoked Fillet, 1X Sweet Herba Mystica, 1X Salty Herba Mystica
  • Fairy: 1X Tomatoes, 2X Salty Herba Mystica

Thank you to Nanikos for showing me a much easier way!
is there any way to get shiny boost without the herbs? like level 1-2 boost?

So how long do sandwiches last anyway?
Game doesn't give an ingame timer or anything.
I've heard people say that it lasts about 30 mins. But I haven't tested myself, so not sure on that

UPDATE: Now that I've got all the typings listed I wanted to look a bit into mixing items together and how that affects your outcome.

I conducted this test using Strawberry and Kiwi

Filling: Strawberry
Condiment: Sweet Herba x1
= Title (Fighting - Lvl2), Catching (Psychic - Lvl2), Item Drop (Ghost - Lvl1)

Filling: Kiwi
Condiment: Sweet Herba x1
= Title (Poison - Lvl2), Catching (Dragon - Lvl2), Item Drop (Fire - Lvl1)

When putting ingredients on a sandwich, you need to balance it.
If you put 2 kiwi on and 1 strawberry, the kiwi's typings will take priority.
If you put 2 strawberry and 1 kiwi on, the strawberries typing will take priority.

If you balance it out however and do 1 of each you will get a mix of the typings.

Combining Kiwi and Strawberry gave me Fighting, Ghost, Poison
How the game decides which typing to give you depends on the ingredients internal ID.

Item 1937: Strawberry (Fighting, Psychic, Ghost)
Item 1938: Apple (Flying, Ice, Steel)
Item 1939: Kiwi (Poison, Dragon, Fire)
Item 1940: Pineapple (Ground, Dark, Water)

Whichever ingredient comes earlier in the item list takes priority for the typings you get when mixing.
It takes the 1st and 3rd type for that ingredient. And the 1st typing for the other ingredient and combines them.

Lets take Kiwi + Strawberry.
The types for strawberry are Fighting, Psychic, Ghost
The types for Kiwi are Poison, Dragon, Fire

Strawberry comes earlier in the internal item list.
So Fighting and Ghost are selected as the first two typings for the outcome.
Kiwi's first typing is Poison, this becomes the third type for the outcome.

The resulting outcome when combining is Fighting, Ghost, Poison

Here's some more examples (The ingredient in bold is the one that comes first in the item list)
Kiwi + Straw = Fighting, Ghost, Poison
Kiwi + Apple = Flying, Steel, Poison
Straw + Apple = Fighting, Ghost, Flying
Kiwi + Pineapple = Poison, Fire, Ground

I'm currently shiny hunting with a sparkling power sandwich. Does anyone know how long these last? Does it notify you when the effect ends?

Edit: My bad I didn't see the second page of questions and answers. Looks like it's still unknown. I'll pitch in if I figure anything out.
