Hacking Should I buy a second switch (just the screen)

I already have a Nintendo Switch, but its on a lower firmware (3.0.0) I want to play most of the Nintendo Switch games coming out but I don't want to have to update my console or act like someone waiting & supporting backups like a crazy person in the world.

Should I just get another Nintendo Switch? So I can see if Homebrew actually comes out later and if I get bored of the second console I have maybe give it to someone else I know?
Now thanks to GameStop's rental service I'm a lot more willing to go out and try more Nintendo Switch games but again just curious if I should or not.

If you can afford a 2 switch, probably is the best option, so when the times comes ,you can have hw and the lastest games at the same time

I would say get another and keep the accessories if you can afford it, two more controllers is always useful and the second dock & charger can be used on the go while you leave the main one plugged into your TV, or could be connected to a second TV in your house if you have one.

Kind of sad but; I would like to use one Switch for Homebrew & one without. One cannot simply (at least easily depending on system.) Go back to their old firmware on a device,
I feel like I have this great device in hand but I can't use it (at least playing future games on it.), and I don't just want to say "Oh well I'm going to go ahead and update anyway." Because that five or so months of waiting for new stuff to come out would basically go down the drain and wasted, but I also don't want to say "Oh I'm never going to use my Switch because of Homebrew or play X Game." Because its just a flat out way to say "I don't care about the device, or games coming out"

Kind of depressing the way I'm looking at it so far (keeping my switch on an older firmware.) But if I know I don't the lower the firmware the more the consoles price is going to be at some point and I will miss some opportunities like I did with my 3ds when Firmware's used to be only hackable through a softmod, hardmod, or not at all, depending on the system version.

No thread for those, I only have them listed on eBay. But I'm more than happy to sell off of eBay, just use a PayPal with an invoice, to avoid eBay fees.

I have 2 that are guaranteed to be on 3.0.0 and 1 that's on 3.0.1. All never used, with box and receipt as proof of purchase.
