Guys should i buy the 3DS or wait for some time for its upgrade may be like an year or so

right now i own a psp go and before than had a gba so pls. give in your suggestions..

why i am asking is as according to me the 3DS is a bit small like ds lite i wanted the big size like ds i xl as that is quite comfortable in my hand while the ds lite and 3DS are not should still buy a 3DS or wait for a bigger model

It all depends on the games. Some great games are coming out for 3DS soon. If you want some of those, get a 3DS. If you don't care about those games, don't buy it.

It's all about the games, simple as that...

About a revision, we all know it'll come (just like a Vita revision, look at how many PSP revisions there are), with or without 2nd slide pad we don't know, but it will at least be one year away. So if you can wait and don't care much about the coming games, then don't buy it now. While you might wait we'll be rocking Mario Kart online

Well, if you get it before February next year, you can get Zelda: Four Swords for free (although if you had a DSi, you could get it and transfer later). However, I quite like the small size because it's portable, and my hands are fairly big. That being said, being a video game collector and what not, I still want a DSi XL, just because I can and also because I'd rather play DS games on it.

I wouldn't put all my eggs in one basket, hoping for Nintendo's first 3DS revision to have bigger screens. It might, it might not. I reckon they'll incorporate the second circle pad and therefore it might need to be slightly bigger, but..... well, I like my 3DS but at the end of the day, if you're not worried about the free games that they've chucked out to early adopters (most, such as Excitebike and the Ambassador Programme games, have already finished being free), I'd say wait.

There are good games coming, but as of the end of this year, there will only be maybe 5-8 decent titles out. If you can wait, do. I doubt it'll get any cheaper within the next year or two, but a new model is very likely.

Simple.
I was saying if he hasn't really explored the content of his PSP and GBA.
He should explore their games before making a leap to a new console
which at the current time has a small library.

i am still not sure so i will wait for some more suggestions...

and yeah the free zelda game ..

i have played ocarina of time only and i like it dont know much about others.......so i really dont care...

i want mario kart too but i hate paper mario which is coming out

and also if i wait for the next 3DS i am sure there will be a bigger and better variety of games for me but then all the cool recent releases would have become less popular by then...

I personally am waiting for the inevitable revision. I can just tell it's going to fix all those flaws that people complain about in the 3DS. I also predict that it will have the 2nd circle pad included without making the 3DS the size of a brick.

You should know that the revision might come straight away or may never even come in a few years...

You CAN try waiting till next year E3... There might be a chance.

But next year's E3 should be filled with Wii U nonsense.

In addition, Nintendo just launched a new color.

well wii u stuff will be there but if you see when wii was launched after a month the craze for it reduced a lot so i wont be expecting much from the wii u and also all they did was add a screen to the remote and i dont like that idea

@FIX94 3DS games wont have many games his yeah may be in december Nintendo will have bunch of games released announced and it would cont for a whole year as the 3DS has been very very popular in japan and the west too...and also if you remember ds i xl was launched 6 months later than the ds i
so i hope the launch the upgrade of 3ds soon too

What I meant was since Nintendo will be giving out more info on its damn U and me, the chances of an announcement of a redesign will be quite slim.

I rather enjoy a life of taking it easy. I haven't reached that life yet though.
