Easy Day Studios delayed Skate XL from the previously planned July 7 release to July 28 for for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
A release date for the Switch version will be announced in the coming weeks.

What is up, guys!
We just wanted to let you know that 1.0 will be launching on July 28, a few weeks later than the original date.
Despite our best efforts, and due in part to things out of our control, we will be moving the launch of Skater XL 1.0 on PS4,XB1, and PC to July 28th.
We'll be announcing a new launch date for Nintendo Switch in the coming weeks.
We appreciate your patience as we finalize the game.
Not to worry-between now and then, we will be showing more new content & features that will be available at launch and continuing to polish the game.

Tried this game a week or 2 ago and I gotta say, I wasn't really convinced. I know it's unfair to compare an indie game to a AAA game like Skate 3 but it's not even close.

I just can't get into skate games anymore. Tony Hawk back in the day was about it. I don't really think the formula has changed much.

I would have said quite the opposite. Skate and Tony Hawk have radically different physics, aesthetic sensibilities (the approach to humour in Tony Hawk vs skate being seriously different), different controls that emphasise very different things, the physics and controls then speak to the levels, the missions when the skating is the focus are a bit more similar but still different enough. Didn't do the most with the other games in more recent years but something like the Shaun White one still did its own thing as well.

BigOnYa @ BigOnYa: I played the intro to far cry 5, that is like some crazy Jim Jones cult shit. Still its petty...
